Part of me (the cynical part) thinks Omar was willing to part with these guys because they weren’t “his” guys. If Omar is still around it will be interesting to see going forward if he knows which of the prospects he’s actually responsible for drafting/signing to get rid of.
Right. Fernando Martinez is one of his guys, a similar sort of outfield prospect, and he’s still here. Should Minaya stick around, it would be interesting to see what happens with Martinez.
